Frequently Asked Question

Divider
Where is the hotel located, and how far is it from Mall Road, the bus stand and the airport?

MNP Village Venue is set in Simsa village on Kanyal Road, a quiet pocket just outside central Manali. It is approximately 3 km from Mall Road and about 2 km from the Manali bus stand — a short drive into town, with the calm of a village setting on the way back. The nearest airport is Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali), roughly 50 km away, about 1 hour 15 minutes by car. Manali has no railway station of its own; the nearest railhead is Chandigarh, around 310 km away, so most guests arrive by road or air.

What are the room rates, and do prices change by season?

Room rates vary by room type and season — expect the highest rates during peak snow season (December–January) and the summer rush (April–June), with better value in the monsoon months (July–September). Exact current rates are confirmed at the time of booking; rates include applicable taxes, and breakfast can be added during checkout.

How can I book a room, and is free cancellation available?

Book directly on our website, by phone with our reservations desk, or through partner platforms such as MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda, Expedia, Clear Trip and Ease my Trip. Most rate plans offer free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in; cancellations after that window may attract a one-night charge. Direct bookings often come with the most flexible terms.

What are the check-in/check-out timings, and can I get early check-in or late check-out?

Standard check-in is at 12:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged on request, subject to room availability — we recommend informing the front desk in advance, especially during peak season.

Is the hotel good for couples, families or groups — and does it have mountain views?

Yes — rooms open onto balconies with views of the surrounding Himalayan foothills, and Simsa’s village setting keeps things quiet compared to central Manali. The property works well for honeymooners and couples, with candlelight dinner setups and bonfire evenings available on request, and equally well for families and groups, with spacious rooms, extra beds on request, and easy access to Solang Valley and Old Manali for day trips together.

What amenities are included — Wi-Fi, parking, heating and breakfast?

MNP Village Venue is a centrally heated property, so rooms stay warm through Manali’s cold winters without relying on individual heaters. All rooms include complimentary Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping, and on-site parking is free for self-drive guests — a genuine convenience given how many visitors arrive by car. Breakfast and multi-cuisine dining are available at our in-house restaurant, and the 24-hour front desk is on hand for anything you need.

Is the hotel family-friendly, and do you allow pets?

Families are welcome, with extra beds available on request for children accompanying adults. Please note that pets are not currently permitted at the property — if you’re travelling with a pet, we’d recommend checking with our reservations desk before booking.

Is the hotel accessible during heavy snowfall, and do you offer airport pickup?

We recommend a vehicle with good winter tyres or chains in December and January, and our team is on hand to advise on road conditions before you set out. Pickup and drop from Bhuntar Airport or the Manali bus stand can be arranged for an additional charge — just share your travel details when booking.

What do guests say in reviews, and where can I see photos of the property?

Guests consistently highlight the mountain views, spacious rooms and family-friendly atmosphere as the property’s biggest draws. Read verified reviews on Google, MakeMyTrip and Goibibo, and browse our full photo gallery on the Gallery page of this website before you book.

What’s the best time to visit for snowfall or pleasant weather?

December to February brings the heaviest snowfall and the best conditions for snow activities near Solang Valley and Rohtang, though roads can occasionally be affected — check ahead in peak winter. October and November offer clear skies and crisp autumn air, ideal for sightseeing without the winter chill. For pleasant, sunny days without heavy crowds, April to June is the classic peak season, while July to September suits travellers who enjoy the monsoon’s green, misty valleys.
